From 9 to 11 December the first training capsule of the Call4forest project took place. The training has been carried out between the CTFC (giving theory on Monday) and the Escola Agrària del Solsonès (carrying out the practice and exams on Tuesday and Wednesday).
The contents of the training were the implementation of the European Brushcutter Certificate (EBC) in Spain and France and the introduction of the digitalisation of the EBC certification system with tablets.
The objective was the implementation of the EBC throughout Spain and France. The group was made up of 18 people (including 7 women) from different training centres: CFPPA de Pamiers (France), EFA Fonteboa (Galicia), Derio Nekazaritza Eskola BHI (Basque Country), CPIFP Montearagón (Aragón), Escuela Agraria del Solsonès, Centro de Formación Forestal Especializada, EFA Quintanes and CTFC staff (Catalonia).
The results of this training have been very positive as it has been possible to train, assess, and verify people (especially women) as trainers and examiners of the European brushcutter licence – EBC.
